It’s almost the end of my time here on the world race, and I want to take a second to share with you all one way it’s changed my life.

The world race was something that the Lord called me to back in September of 2019 and here I am in may of 2021 about to end what the Lord started. One thing is this, the world race did not change my life, Jesus did. Jesus changed everything and made it so much better. You see I’ve been a Christian my whole life, but met Jesus during my time on the world race. I knew of Jesus, I mean I went to church on Sunday’s and Wednesdays. I was a good person, a person that followed every rule that was placed in front of me. But to me for my whole life I thought being a Christian meant being a religious centered person who could get into heaven if I acted and did all the right things. The world race changed the way I saw Jesus and who He is.

While on the world race one of the biggest things I’ve learned that is God simply wants a relationship with me, that in order for me to give out and love people I have to love God first. What’s the point of loving people, if I’m not loving my Father who created me and the people around me. I learned what everyday life with Him looks like, I learned that it looks uncomfortable and hard, because living for Him requires me to give up my way of living for His kingdom way of living. Living For Jesus is saying yes each and everyday. Saying yes to coming on this nine month missions trip changed me , because I was saying yes to Jesus each and everyday.

Jesus showed me His never ending love, so I could go and love my neighbor and the least of these among us. Jesus showed me that trusting Him is extremely hard, but ultimately worth it, because of His kingdom . His kingdom is coming, and I get to be apart of it, I get to simply love people and see God do the rest and change this world.

My life is radically different, I am not the same person that left on day on, I am a new creation. I am a Jesus freak, simply dedicated to loving God with everything I am, and loving all His people.

Wow, thank you Jesus for showing me to the world race and using these past nine months to redirect everything. I cannot wait to start this next season and share all that the Lords done!
