Hello my people, im about to take you through a visual journey of what life has looked like for me this past month and the many things God has done while being in Gainesville. So if your ready, buckle up, and LETS GO!!!
First, I want to introduce to you my squad. These are the amazing brothers and sisters I get to spend the next nine moths of my life with, oh you bet im excited!!
This is team abandon, my team of women that I get to love, learn from, and grow closer to God with, oh I love these humans.
Our leaders!!! So beyond blessed to have these people as our leaders, they have been on the world race before and its so crazy to me that they’ve chosen to obey the call of God on their lives to lead and disciple me and my squad this next year!
This is the place I call home!
Our family table, where many meals are eaten, where laughter is shared and joy is evident. Where the Lord shows up through the many life giving conversations and where we can just be ourselves and have fun doing this thing called life.
Living a life outside of my comfort zone has been one of the best joys of my life!! A couple of my new favorite things are, hand washing my clothes, taking bucket showers, sleeping in a tent and using a porta potty.
Worshiping is one of my favorite things to do here, I love getting to come together, and worship our savior together.
We have busy weeks filled with learning about the FATHER, and how to live our lives in complete surrender to Him. Also, what our role is here on earth is, how to live a mission minded life, and serve the word around us.
Everyday you will find us playing cards, singing songs, and having many dance parties. Living for Jesus isn’t always easy, but its so worth it. Life is so fun when you know who your living it for.
Last but not least, I have some big news to share with you!! We have been praying this past month for opportunities to open for us to leave Georgia to do ministry, even with a pandemic and boy did God answer! God is taking me and my squad to foley, Alabama, from October 30-November 8th and we get to spend the week partnering with Samaritans purse to serve the people of Alabama and help with Disaster relief from Hurricane sally. I am so excited and blessed for this opportunity and can’t wait to see all that God will do!
Thank you for being a big part of making this happen. Through your financial giving you have been making this a reality for me and my team, I’ve learned that its more than money, when you give, you are giving to help further Gods kingdom and change peoples lives, this is big!!! And thank you for the many prayers, prayer is so powerful and I know that God can use our simple prayers and turn them into answered prayers!!
